Information:

The Tayside Local Orthodontic Committee (LOC) was formed in 2003 by the majority of primary and secondary care orthodontic providers in Tayside to discuss areas of common interest and be available to represent all aspects of orthodontic provision in discussions with NHS Tayside.
The NHS Tayside Change and Innovation Sub Committee approved the establishment of a Pilot Project MCN in 2005 and the inaugural meeting was held in August.
The aim of the Network is to act as a collective with the aim of working with NHS Tayside to develop and deliver a quality orthodontic service built on the core principles for a MCN outlined by the Scottish Government in order to:
Achieve better, fairer access to our services
Increase flexibility
Reduce waiting and improve the patient's journey of care
Improve communications and break down barriers
Make best use of all skills and resources
