Information & Performance Scrutiny
The Information & Performance Scrutiny Department provides the NHS Tayside Single Information Service, which was formed on 1 July 2006 and manages the processes that assure senior management and the Board of performance of delivery of corporate performance objectives.
The single information service provides a comprehensive information service to NHS Tayside and a host of external agencies. The service has been designed to be effective, efficient and responsive to change in its information provision to stakeholders through portfolio-led management and structured team responsibilities.
The single information function is headed by the Head of Information & Performance Scrutiny who reports directly to the Director of Change and Innovation. The information department is managed through three teams. These teams focus upon: the strategic, population-based information requirements of the organisation; the operational information requirements of the Delivery Unit; and the internal processes of information management and the single information function.
