Child Health
Welcome to Child Health for NHS Tayside.
We deal with a wide range of issues including Child Protection, Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Children with Complex Needs.
The purpose of the Child Health Department is to:
- Play a major role in integrated planning for child health across Tayside
- Drive NHS and Local Authority strategic planning processes for children’s services
- Work regionally with North of Scotland Planning Group for Children’s Services (NoSPG) and South East and Tayside Planning Group for Children’s Services (SEAT).
- Work collaboratively with Scottish Government to roll out and monitor delivery of Child Health strategic objectives.
- To develop and monitor local NHS Tayside Child Health Action Plans
